We are seeking dedicated caregivers to assist seniors and disabled adults with activities of daily living in their homes or care facilities in Grand Rapids, MI. We are particularly interested in caregivers who can commit to two or more shifts per week, especially those available for 12-hour shifts 2-3 times a week.

Responsibilities and Qualifications:

You should be comfortable assisting with tasks that include, but are not limited to, personal hygiene, dressing, light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation. Additionally, you may assist clients with medication reminders, prescribed exercises, dementia care, and companionship activities such as reading, music, and puzzles.

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English as required for the position
• Valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance
• High school diploma or GED
• Must meet the qualifications for employees providing direct patient care
• Ability to pass a full employment background check
• Successful completion of a Competency Evaluation that complies with state licensing requirements for home health agencies
• Current CPR certification is recommended
• Minimum of one year of experience as a Home Health Aide in healthcare settings and completion of a state-approved Nurse Aide or Home Health Aide training course
