Job description:

Provides exceptional customer service daily, consistently exceeding customer expectations while adhering to company policies and procedures. Responsible for loading orders into delivery vehicles and ensuring the accuracy of deliveries by effectively routing them. Completes necessary paperwork, including return forms, invoices, and transfers accurately.

In the absence of pending deliveries, performs various warehouse duties and observes all safety regulations at all times, including vehicle safety procedures. Communicates relevant information to management in a timely fashion and addresses customer inquiries with courtesy, escalating to management as needed. Ensures customer orders are delivered promptly and efficiently, making only assigned deliveries, and communicates with the manager from customer locations when required.

Initials all cash invoices clearly, adhering to established cash handling protocols, and accurately records pertinent information on invoices. Conducts daily vehicle checks and performs routine maintenance and cleanup of the vehicle, notifying management of any non-routine repairs or maintenance needs. Additionally, handles facility maintenance responsibilities, maintaining a clean working environment.

Demonstrates professionalism, courtesy, and proactivity in all interactions with customers, vendors, and colleagues. Adheres closely to both oral and written instructions, collaborates effectively with team members under tight deadlines, and produces quality work with attention to detail. Complies with company policies and procedures regarding attendance and punctuality.

Actively seeks out training opportunities, both internally and externally, to enhance skills and knowledge. Reports to work punctually and as scheduled, in accordance with policy guidelines.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience
A minimum of two years of driving experience and a valid driver’s license are preferred.
