Key Responsibilities:
– Welcome patients into the treatment area, ensuring their comfort.
– Discuss comprehensive dental care plans with patients and address any inquiries.
– Prepare and maintain sterilized equipment for dentist examinations and procedures.
– Take vital signs and accurately document medical histories.
– Conduct preliminary exams and collect oral health histories.
– Assess patients for signs of gum disease, cavities, and infections.
– Remove plaque and administer fluoride treatments.
– Educate patients on effective oral hygiene techniques.

Qualifications:
– Associate’s Degree from a school accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation; Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferred.
– Current Dental Hygienist licensure, including endorsements for dental anesthesia and Nitrous Oxide.
