Job description:

We are currently seeking a personable and organized Dental Treatment Coordinator to join our team in Columbus, OH. In this pivotal role, you will provide essential support to our patients by reviewing recommended treatments, discussing financial options, and ensuring a seamless and positive patient experience from consultation through to the completion of care.

Schedule: Full Time, Monday – Thursday 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM and Friday 7:30 AM – 2:00 PM

Responsibilities:

  • Present proposed treatment plans to patients, explaining procedures, timelines, and financial obligations.
  • Coordinate scheduling of treatment appointments, aligning provider availability with patient needs.
  • Secure necessary pre-authorizations and ensure accurate breakdowns of insurance benefits.
  • Review payment options, process financial arrangements, and collect payments as needed.
  • Follow up with patients regarding pending treatment and facilitate timely case acceptance.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of treatment plans and communication.
  • Act as a liaison between the provider and patient to foster understanding and trust.
  • Educate patients on the importance and value of the proposed treatments.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other privacy regulations.
  • Assist with front desk duties as necessary.
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications:

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a dental or healthcare administrative role.
