Job description:

The Desktop Analyst 2 serves as a primary point of contact for numerous departmental customers, delivering comprehensive analysis, support, and maintenance of the desktop computing environment, applications, hardware, and related technologies utilized within these departments. This role focuses on optimizing IT performance through the timely and accurate analysis and resolution of issues, incidents, and problems. Additionally, the Desktop Analyst 2 will provide end-user assistance, conduct on-site maintenance and repair services, and play a critical role in equipment receipt, deployment, and inventory management. Daily guidance will be provided by the Department Executive 5.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support essential activities as needed.
  • Collaborate with other IT service areas, including server, network, telecommunication, and application teams.
  • Acquire and enhance knowledge of all supported technologies.
  • Travel to various locations as required.

Educational and Experience Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree; or
  • An Associate Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline from a recognized institution, accompanied by two years of desktop support experience in an environment with at least 100 users; or
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent, along with four years of desktop support experience in a similar environment.
  • A valid driver’s license.

Preferred Certifications:

  • COMPTIA A+
