Job description:
The Sales Operations team collaborates closely with both planning and sales teams to ensure the seamless execution of advertising campaigns that meet and exceed client expectations. We are seeking a detail-oriented, technically adept problem solver who possesses exceptional customer service skills and leadership qualities to join our team.
As a Digital Operations Specialist, you will:
- Collaborate with NBC and Peacock teams to conduct Ad Operations quality assurance for video ads on web, mobile web, app, and OTT platforms.
- Coordinate with account teams to collect all digital campaign media assets and execute campaigns within ad servers.
Responsibilities:
- Traffic all campaign elements through our DFP Premium and Freewheel ad servers.
- Troubleshoot ad serving issues and liaise with both internal and external key stakeholders to resolve them.
- Train, support, and manage communications with both external and internal teams while serving as a technical expert on our systems (Google Ad Manager, FreeWheel, and Operative One).
- Review and approve all components of digital ad products and ad serving technology prior to releases, including video ad servers, video players, display ad servers, and third-party channel partners.
- Gather all digital campaign media assets.
- Ensure media is delivered according to published specifications and lead times.
- Process all first-party hosted creative and manage asset delivery to our internal sales operations teams.
- Engage directly with the Digital Media Advertising Sales Team and clients to ensure successful campaign fulfillment.
- Coordinate with sales marketing and site leaders to schedule campaigns for calendar-based sponsorships and events.
- Maintain functional knowledge of trafficking campaigns in DFP Premium, FreeWheel, and Operative.
- Generate both third-party and first-party reporting.
- Be self-motivated and capable of working independently, as well as part of the Ad Operations team. Effective multitasking and time management skills are essential.
- Handle a high volume of emails and multiple concurrent campaigns efficiently.
- Exhibit strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and accuracy.
- Collaborate closely with sales, inventory management, marketing, and product development teams to address and resolve inbound requests.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is mandatory.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in Sales Operations is required.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Must possess unrestricted work authorization for the United States, both now and in the future.
- A willingness to work in the entertainment media industry, which may require availability on weekends for live events.
- Candidates must be 18 years or older.

- Strong understanding of online video/display advertising and ad serving.
- Excellent client relationship and interpersonal skills.

- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, including formulas).
- Basic knowledge of HTML and ActionScript.
- Familiarity with ad serving specifications such as VAST and VPAID.
- Experience in basic image editing, including taking screenshots and cropping.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, along with the capacity to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Detail-oriented with the capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
