Job Title: Direct Service Professional – afternoon childcare

Company: Help at Home

Location: Livonia, MI

Pay: $15 – 16 per hour

AI Pay Analysis: The hourly rate of $15 to $16 for a “Direct Service Professional – afternoon childcare” role in Livonia, MI, is relatively modest and generally aligns with entry-level wages in the childcare and direct support sectors. According to industry data, childcare workers in Michigan typically earn between $12 to $18 per hour, but this can vary based on factors like experience, specific qualifications, and the complexity of the services provided. While this pay range is competitive at the lower end, it may not attract experienced candidates or meet the increasing cost of living demands in the area. Overall, while the rate is within the typical range, it may not be sufficiently competitive to attract top talent, especially as many employers are raising wages to meet labor market demands.
