Job Title: Direct Service Professional – Farmington

Company: Help at Home

Location: Farmington, MI

Pay: $15 – 16 per hour

AI Pay Analysis: The hourly rate of $15 – $16 for a “Direct Service Professional” role in Farmington, MI, is relatively low compared to industry standards, especially for positions that often require specialized training or responsibilities related to supporting individuals with disabilities or other needs. As of 2023, the typical pay for similar roles across the United States generally ranges from $16 to $22 per hour, depending on factors such as experience, certifications, and specific job duties. In Michigan, the average hourly wage for direct care workers is closer to $17, which indicates that the offered rate falls slightly below competitive levels. Therefore, while it may be acceptable for entry-level positions, it could be a challenge to attract qualified candidates at this pay range, given the cost of living and prevailing wages in the area.
