Job Description
Job Title: Direct Service Professional – Morning and Night hours
Company: Help at Home
Location: Dearborn Heights, MI
Pay: $15 – 16 per hour
AI Pay Analysis: The hourly rate of $15 – $16 for a “Direct Service Professional” in Dearborn Heights, MI, is generally considered on the lower end of the pay scale for this role, which often involves supporting individuals with disabilities or those needing assistance with daily living activities. Nationally, the average hourly wage for direct support professionals typically ranges from $13 to $20, depending on experience, specific duties, and regional demand. While the wage may be somewhat competitive locally, especially for entry-level positions, it may not fully align with the rising cost of living and the demands of the job, which often requires patience, empathy, and sometimes physical labor. Overall, while this rate may attract candidates, it may impact retention and job satisfaction in the long term.
