Job Description
Job Title: Direct Support Professional
Company: Beacon Specialized Living Services, Inc.
Location: Walker, MI
Pay: $15.35 per hour
AI Pay Analysis: The hourly rate of $15.35 for a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Walker, MI, is slightly below the national average for this role, which typically ranges from $15 to $20 per hour depending on experience and specific job duties. While entry-level positions may fall at the lower end of this spectrum, more experienced DSPs or those with specialized skills often earn higher wages. In Michigan, the average hourly wage for DSPs generally aligns closer to mid to high $15s or low $20s. Thus, while $15.35 is not uncompetitive, it may be less appealing compared to other opportunities in the industry, especially considering the demanding nature of the job and the ongoing need for skilled support professionals.
