Job Title: Direct Support Professional – Childcare & Behavioral Support | Multiple Shifts

Company: Help at Home

Location: Lansing, MI

Pay: $15 – 16 per hour

AI Pay Analysis: The hourly rate of $15 – $16 for a “Direct Support Professional – Childcare & Behavioral Support” role in Lansing, MI, is generally considered to be on the lower end of the spectrum. According to industry standards and data from organizations such as the Bureau of Labor Statistics, direct support professionals typically earn between $13 to $20 per hour, depending on factors like experience, education, and specific job responsibilities. In Michigan, the average wage may vary slightly, but this pay range often falls short of what’s offered in metropolitan areas or for those with specialized skills. Therefore, while the offered rate may attract some candidates, it may not be competitive enough to retain or attract more experienced professionals in the field.
