Job Description
Job Title: Direct Support Professional – Childcare & Behavioral Support | Multiple Shifts
Company: Help at Home
Location: Lansing, MI
Pay: $15 – 16 per hour
AI Pay Analysis: The hourly rate of $15 – $16 for a Direct Support Professional (DSP) role focused on childcare and behavioral support in Lansing, MI, is generally considered to be on the lower end of the compensation scale. According to industry standards, DSPs typically earn between $12 and $20 per hour, depending on factors such as experience, certifications, and specific job responsibilities; however, rates may be higher in urban areas with a higher cost of living. While this pay rate may be competitive for entry-level positions or smaller organizations, it may not attract more experienced candidates or those in search of comprehensive benefits, especially in light of rising living costs. Overall, while the offered rate aligns with the lower tier of industry standards, it may not be fully competitive in the current job market.
