Job Description
Job Title: Direct Support Professional – Flexible Evening & Saturday Hours
Company: Help at Home
Location: Birmingham, MI
Pay: $15 – 16 per hour
AI Pay Analysis: The hourly rate of $15 to $16 for a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Birmingham, MI, falls within a competitive range but may be slightly below the average for the region. According to recent wage data, DSPs in Michigan typically earn between $15 and $20 per hour, depending on experience, certifications, and specific duties involved. While the flexibility of evening and Saturday hours might attract candidates seeking part-time work, offering a higher rate could enhance competitiveness, particularly in a higher-cost area like Birmingham. Overall, while the pay is aligned with the lower end of industry standards, increasing the compensation could help attract and retain qualified professionals in this critical support role.
