Job Title: Direct Support Professional – Full-time

Company: Help at Home

Location: Detroit, MI

Pay: $16 – 17 per hour

AI Pay Analysis: The hourly rate of $16 – $17 for a Direct Support Professional (DSP) position in Detroit, MI, is generally considered competitive, though it may be slightly below the national average for this role. According to various salary sources, DSPs typically earn between $14 to $20 per hour, depending on factors like experience, specific job requirements, and the employer. In urban areas like Detroit, where the cost of living can influence wage expectations, this rate is at the lower end of the spectrum but may align with entry-level positions or roles with fewer responsibilities. Overall, while it can attract candidates, it may struggle to retain experienced professionals due to the demanding nature of DSP work which often involves supporting individuals with disabilities or special needs.
