Job description:

We are currently seeking a personable and organized Front Desk Client Services Representative to join our team at It’s A Dog’s Life Resort & Spa. This pivotal role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service to ensure a memorable experience for our clients and their beloved pets. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing client check-ins and check-outs, processing financial transactions, and supporting our sales and marketing initiatives. Essential Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate client check-in and check-out processes.
  • Greet and assist clients and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner.
  • Efficiently check pets in and out of the facility, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately.
  • Promote and upsell our range of services and products.
  • Oversee data integrity within the Gingr (POS) system.
  • Manage financial operations, including cash drawer reconciliation and transaction accuracy.
  • Address client inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly to provide outstanding service.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
  • Actively promote services and products, including daycare, grooming, and enrichment services.
  • Manage social media accounts and website content to ensure it remains current and engaging.
  • Capture high-quality photographs of pets during their stay for marketing purposes.
  • Organize marketing events and promotions to attract new clients and engage existing ones.
  • Coordinate birthday celebrations and memorials for pets, as well as community outreach efforts.
  • Oversee maintenance and repairs of the facility, ensuring cleanliness and organization.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in business or animal care is advantageous.
  • Previous experience in customer service, sales, or a related field, preferably within the pet care industry.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, accompanied by a friendly demeanor.
  • Proficient in cash handling and financial reconciliation.
  • Basic knowledge of social media platforms and marketing strategies.
  • Ability to multitask and manage priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Genuine passion for animals and a commitment to delivering top-notch care and service.
