Key Responsibilities:

On a typical day, you will:

  • Safely operate, transfer, and deliver freight using 53 ft. trailers at loading docks
  • Use material handling equipment to load and unload materials safely
  • Maintain necessary documentation, including daily logs, vehicle inspection records, and shipping records
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections, ensuring proper closure of trailers
  • Provide basic equipment maintenance and report any malfunctions
  • Secure loads properly and ensure compliance with weight limits
  • Maintain cleanliness within your assigned tractor/trailer and designated areas
  • Inspect trailers prior to movement to verify their condition
  • Adhere to all safety policies and practices

Qualifications for Success:

At a minimum, you will need:

  • 6 months of experience with a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A
  • A current valid driver’s license with a clean driving record over the past two years
  • A valid CDL Class A with a clean driving history

Preferred qualifications include:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in transporting various trailer types (tanks, vans, flatbeds)
