Join us as an essential caregiver, and we will equip you with the necessary PPE to ensure your safety while caring for our vulnerable seniors and adults with disabilities.

We are currently seeking compassionate caregivers to assist seniors and disabled adults with activities of daily living in their homes or care facilities located in Comstock Park/Rockford, MI. Ideal candidates will be available for two or more shifts per week, with a preference for those willing to work weekends, particularly from 8 AM to 8 PM. Available shifts include days, evenings, nights, weekends, and overnight hours.

While your training will provide all the information needed for success, some essential skills will benefit you from the outset. You should be comfortable performing a range of personal care tasks, including (but not limited to) assistance with eating, personal hygiene, dressing, shaving, light housekeeping, laundry, and other household chores. While gourmet cooking is not required, you should be capable of preparing nutritious meals and navigating a kitchen confidently.

Additionally, your assistance may encompass tasks such as medication reminders, helping clients with prescribed range of motion exercises, providing dementia care, and engaging in companionship activities, which could include reading, music, puzzles, and more.

Must Haves:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English as required for the role
  • Valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Meet requirements for employees providing direct patient care
  • Ability to pass a full employment background check
  • Successful completion of a Competency Evaluation meeting State licensing requirements for home health agencies
  • Current CPR certification is recommended
  • Minimum of one year of experience as a Home Health Aide in healthcare settings, with successful completion of a State-approved Nurse Aide or Home Health Aide course
