The J.P. Morgan Wealth Management business is dedicated to assisting investors in achieving their long-term financial goals. This division encompasses the Chase Wealth Management business, J.P. Morgan Securities, and our digital investing platform, collectively managing $400 billion in assets with a workforce of 4,000 advisors operating across 3,500 branches and 21 offices. The Events Marketing Senior Associate will play a critical role in supporting the execution of events for the J.P. Morgan Wealth Management business.
As an Events Marketing Senior Associate, you will leverage your extensive experience in event execution to develop marketing strategies that enhance JPMorgan’s reputation. Your responsibilities will encompass managing event logistics and collaborating closely with the Affluent Events Manager, Retail Bank, and Regional Sales Leadership to meet the needs of clients and prospective customers. You will also work in partnership with various teams across JPMC and within the business. This position falls under the Mass Affluent event team, reporting to the Head of Thought Leadership Events and Content, and is part of the broader Inclusive Investing & Events team within the J.P. Morgan Wealth Management marketing organization.
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee comprehensive event planning logistics from inception to completion, serving as the primary contact for booking speakers, venues, creating menus, and managing additional logistics such as registration processes, website development, client communications, daily registration reports, and post-event client analytics to assess engagement impacts on business objectives.
- Manage team operations, including budget oversight: maintain documentation of budgets, coordinate with Accounts Payable for invoice processing, track expenses, and facilitate sourcing and contracting by managing speaker and vendor agreements.
- Support TPO Vendor Management by onboarding and nurturing relationships with both new and existing vendors.
- Document and refine team processes as they solidify.
- Develop and maintain a detailed events calendar for the business, in close collaboration with the Chase Private Client, Business Banking, and Private Bank events teams.
- Manage and enhance event registration tools and platforms.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in event planning and execution, including expertise in vendor contracting and negotiation processes.
- Proven track record in planning and executing both large-scale and smaller, brand-relevant events with a commitment to high quality for affluent and high-net-worth clients.
- Extensive experience in organizing virtual events, including collaboration with production and online services.
- Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to work collaboratively across various partner teams; exceptional organizational and project management capabilities are essential.
- A passion for detail and a creative mindset are crucial.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to effectively meet group needs.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Capacity to think and react swiftly during event execution, demonstrating discretion regarding private client information.

- Ability to travel up to 60%, typically Monday through Friday.
