Matrix Systems, a leading company in access control and security management solutions, is seeking an Access Control Service Technician to support our clients in the Cincinnati and Dayton regions.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Experience in the installation and/or servicing of access control and alarm/security systems in commercial settings.
  • A minimum of three years’ experience in the installation and/or servicing of access control, fire, and CCTV security systems.
  • Strong planning skills to manage workload within the 40-hour shift, with flexibility for after-hours and emergency calls as needed.
  • Proficient communication skills to keep stakeholders updated on service calls and installations.
  • The ability to work independently, demonstrating initiative without supervision.
  • A track record of completing projects on time, within budget, and adhering to scope.
  • Solid mechanical and electrical aptitude, including proficiency with multimeters.
  • Capability to provide accurate and detailed service reports to ensure timely invoicing and job cost tracking.
  • A strong customer-focused mindset with the ability to perform well under pressure.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • A Vocational/Technical Degree in electronics, security, or computer systems is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and NetSuite.
  • At least two years of experience in wiring and terminating circuitry systems.
  • IP Video and IT experience are considered a plus.
  • A valid state driver’s license without restrictions.
  • Successful completion of a drug screen.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
