Job description:
The Estimator’s primary responsibility is to deliver an exceptional customer experience while creating accurate estimates and coordinating repair needs. This role involves effective communication with customers and insurance companies throughout the repair process, ensuring that all parties are informed and updated. The Estimator is tasked with accurately assessing vehicle damage, documenting required repairs, and parts replacements in the damage appraisal, all while aligning efforts with team members to achieve the repair facility’s key performance indicators (KPIs).
Key Responsibilities:
- Document and update every customer interaction with relevant details efficiently and accurately.
- Provide timely and precise information to customers, guiding them through the repair process to ensure excellent service.
- Ensure adherence to all insurance client requirements, processes, and metrics.
- Comply with WOW Operating Way standards related to customer drop-offs, repair planning, communication, and delivery.
- Communicate customer requests and needs to the appropriate team members.
- Greet customers energetically, both in person and on the phone.
- Possess a strong understanding of required insurance programs and procedures.
- Participate in daily production walks with management as needed.
- Support team members as required.
- Attend monthly health and safety and staff meetings, if required.
- Engage in training, informational sessions, and workshops recommended by the Store Manager.
- Maintain the store’s KPIs by maximizing role performance.
- Uphold the company’s core values of honesty, integrity, and respect.
Education and Experience Required:
- Knowledge of repairs and OEM guidelines.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Familiarity with research resources.
- Basic computer skills.
- Minimum of one year of experience compliant with DRP requirements.
- Willingness to complete I-CAR training.
- Valid driver’s license.

Commission for this position is calculated based on location and revenue metrics, sales, and individual performance, according to the terms of the commission plan, with estimated earnings ranging from $46,800 to $100,000 per year.
