Job description:

The Member Services Representative is tasked with delivering an exceptional “Judgement Free” experience for our members by consistently providing high-quality customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Warmly greet members, prospective members, and guests, ensuring outstanding customer service.
• Manage all front desk operations, which include:
  • Answering calls in a courteous manner and responding to a variety of inquiries.
  • Checking members into the system.
  • Facilitating new member registrations.
  • Conducting tours for prospective members.
• Implement necessary updates to member accounts.
• Address member questions and concerns promptly and professionally, escalating issues to the Assistant Manager or General Manager as required.
• Perform cleaning duties to uphold the cleanliness and organization of the club.
• Obtain and maintain CPR/AED Certification within the timelines specified by the company and retain the physical capability to administer CPR/AED during medical emergencies.
• Acquire Tanning Certification within the designated timeframe established by the company.
• Close the shift at the end of the business day.
• Prepare bank deposits for the following day.

Qualifications / Requirements:

• Outstanding customer service skills, with the ability to engage positively and professionally with both members and coworkers, consistently surpassing member expectations.
• Availability for 3rd shift (overnight).
• Candidates must be 18 years of age or older.
• Capability to secure and retain CPR/AED Certification within company-required timelines and maintain physical readiness to execute CPR/AED in emergencies.
• Successful attainment of Tanning Certification within the appropriate timeline established by the company.
• A genuine passion for fitness and health.
• An upbeat, professional, and positive demeanor.
• Punctuality and reliability are paramount.
• Strong listening skills, demonstrating empathy and effective problem-solving abilities.
