Job description:

The Member Services Representative is tasked with fostering a positive "Judgment Free" environment for members, prospective members, and guests by delivering an exceptional standard of customer service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Warmly greet members, prospective members, and guests, ensuring outstanding service at all times.
  • Manage front desk operations, including:
    • Answering phone calls in a friendly manner and assisting with various inquiries.
    • Checking members into the system.
    • Facilitating new member sign-ups.
    • Conducting tours for prospective members.
  • Assist with necessary updates to members’ accounts.
  • Address member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner; escalate issues to the Assistant Manager or Manager as required.
  • Perform cleaning duties as needed to uphold the cleanliness and organization of the club.
  • Secure and maintain CPR/AED certification within designated timeframes and retain the physical capacity to perform CPR/AED in emergencies.
  • Obtain tanning certification within the specified timeframe.
  • Close the shift for the day and prepare the bank deposit for the following day.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to engage positively and professionally with members and colleagues, consistently exceeding expectations.
  • Must be available for third shift (overnight).
  • Candidates must be at least 18 years of age.
  • CAP and AED certification must be achieved and maintained as required; physical ability to administer CPR during emergencies is essential.
  • Tanning certification must be obtained within the specified timeframe.
