Welcome to Masa & Agave! Join a dynamic team and take on a leadership role within our restaurant’s food and beverage service. You will be responsible for planning and managing the Restaurant, Room Service, and Market 216 to ensure customer satisfaction, deliver quality service, and comply with corporate, franchise, and regulatory standards while working towards achieving financial goals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the restaurant and room service throughout breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well as managing bar operations.
- Manage human resources within these outlets to effectively attract, retain, and motivate associates, including interviewing, hiring, scheduling, training, developing, coaching, and conducting performance evaluations.
- Implement company programs and manage the operational practices of the Restaurant, Room Service, and other food and beverage outlets to ensure adherence to LSOPs and SOPs, maintaining compliance with safety regulations and local laws for optimal service quality and hospitality.
- Forecast, implement, monitor, and control budgets for various outlets, focusing on labor, food, beverage costs, and supplies to maximize revenue while minimizing expenses, ensuring all necessary resources are available for top-tier customer service.
- Address customer trends, needs, issues, and feedback to enhance the guest experience and promote future sales opportunities.
- Develop, recommend, and execute promotions, displays, and buffet presentations to attract more in-house guests and capture a larger share of the local market.
- Monitor and uphold the maintenance and sanitation standards of outlet areas and equipment to safeguard assets and comply with regulations, ensuring quality service.
- Adhere to attendance policies and maintain availability for regular shifts.
- Execute other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills:
- A minimum of two years of post-secondary education.
- At least two years of full-time experience in a related position; hotel experience preferred.
- Comprehensive knowledge of restaurant and hotel operations to engage in complex analytical work.
- Requires strong supervision, management, and communication skills.
- Ability to investigate and analyze current activities or information, drawing logical conclusions and recommendations.
- Familiarity with hotel operations, marketing plans, safety programs, personnel relations, budgeting, quality assurance programs, and hospitality law.
- Leadership abilities to effectively motivate and develop staff toward achieving organizational goals.
- Strong prioritization, planning, organizational, and delegation skills.
- Excellent written communication skills, ensuring clarity, organization, and completeness.
- Capacity to work effectively under time constraints and meet deadlines.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor communication style to diverse audiences.
