Job Summary: The Food Service Worker will be responsible for the preparation, presentation, and serving of food as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform food preparation tasks, such as washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables.
  • Accurately weigh and measure ingredients.
  • Transport pans, kettles, and trays of food safely to and from workstations, stoves, and refrigerators.
  • Store food according to wrapping, dating, food safety, and rotation procedures.
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas, equipment, and utensils.
  • Distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment.
  • Follow approved recipes and production standards to ensure quality, serving temperatures, and portion control.
  • Provide friendly and efficient service to customers in accordance with outlined service steps.
  • Address customer concerns and communicate relevant information to supervisors.
  • Ensure adherence to company service standards, inventory control, and cash handling procedures.
  • Comply with all sanitation and safety regulations.
  • Carry out other assigned responsibilities as necessary.
