Morrison Living is actively seeking dedicated full-time and part-time Food Service Workers to join our team immediately.

  • Location: Masonic Pathways, 1200 Wright Avenue, Alma, MI 48801.
  • Schedule: Positions are available for varying schedules including full-time and part-time. Shifts may include hours from 11:30 AM to 7:30 PM, 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM, and 6:00 AM to 10:30 AM; additional details will be provided during the interview.
  • Requirement: Prior food handling experience is preferred.
  • Perks: Uniform shirts will be provided, and training is available for all new hires.
  • Pay Rate: $14.00 per hour.

Job Summary:
This role involves preparing, presenting, and serving food as required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform preparation tasks including washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables.
  • Accurately weigh and measure designated ingredients.
  • Safely transport pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from workstations, stoves, and refrigerators.
  • Store food in designated areas while adhering to wrapping, dating, food safety, and rotation guidelines.
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas, equipment, and utensils.
  • Distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment as needed.
  • Follow approved recipes and production standards to ensure quality, serving temperatures, and portion control.
  • Serve customers in a friendly and efficient manner, following established service protocols.
  • Address customer concerns and relay pertinent information to supervisors.
  • Comply with company service standards and adhere to inventory and cash control procedures.
  • Ensure all sanitation and safety regulations are met.
  • Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
