We are seeking to fill part-time Food Service Worker positions immediately. Located at Henry Ford St. John Hospital, 22101 Moross Road, Detroit, MI 48236, we invite interested candidates to apply online only.

Job Summary: As a Food Service Worker, you will be responsible for preparing and serving food, while ensuring high standards of quality and service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform food preparation tasks, including washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Accurately weigh and measure ingredients.
• Safely transport food items between workstations and storage.
• Store food items following proper safety and sanitation protocols.
• Maintain cleanliness in work areas, utensils, and equipment.
• Distribute necessary supplies and equipment.
• Adhere to approved recipes and production standards to maintain food quality and portion control.
• Serve customers in a friendly and efficient manner, following service procedures.
• Address customer concerns and communicate relevant details to supervisors.
• Ensure compliance with service standards, inventory management, and cash control procedures.
• Uphold sanitation and safety regulations at all times.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.
