We are actively seeking candidates for part-time Food Service Worker positions.

The role requires presence at Henry Ford St. John Hospital, located at 22101 Moross Road, Detroit, MI 48236. Please note that applications will be accepted online exclusively.

Job Summary
The Food Service Worker will be responsible for preparing, presenting, and serving food as required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Engage in food preparation activities such as washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Weigh and measure designated ingredients accurately.
• Transport food items, including pans, kettles, and trays, safely between workstations, stoves, and refrigerators.
• Store food appropriately, adhering to wrapping, dating, food safety, and rotation protocols.
• Maintain cleanliness in work areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Distribute supplies and portable equipment efficiently.
• Follow approved recipes and production standards to ensure quality, proper serving temperatures, and portion control.
• Serve customers in a courteous and efficient manner, adhering to established service protocols.
• Address customer inquiries and communicate relevant concerns to supervisors.
• Ensure adherence to company service standards, inventory management, and cash control procedures.
• Comply with all sanitation and safety regulations.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.
