We are seeking an energetic and dedicated individual to join our team as a Front Desk Attendant at D1 Aurora, an athletic training facility specializing in programs for both youth and adult athletes aged 7 and older. Our mission is to deliver a best-in-class service experience that empowers athletes to achieve their goals. As the first point of contact for our local athletes, you will bring the enthusiasm they need to propel their performance.
Responsibilities:
- Complete opening and closing checklists to maintain operational efficiency.
- Ensure the lobby and restroom areas are clean, organized, and well-stocked.
- Develop a thorough understanding of the D1 brand to effectively address customer inquiries from current and prospective athletes.
- Handle phone calls and appropriately relay messages to recruiters and management.
- Check athletes into workouts and accurately track attendance.
- Manage inventory in retail areas, ensuring food, drinks, and merchandise are fully stocked.
- Maintain inventory for cleaning supplies, D1 gear, and other essential products.
- Process all ancillary purchases using the MBO system.
- Execute daily tasks related to social media engagement.
- Ensure all customer accounts are accurately documented.
Qualifications:
- Dependable, organized, and responsible with a keen attention to detail.
- High-energy and positive demeanor, inspiring those you interact with.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer service environment, preferably in the fitness industry.
- Experience working with children is an advantageous asset.
- CPR/AED certification is a plus.
- Proven ability to manage transactions with precision.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Schedule Flexibility:
- Opportunities for 4- and 8-hour shifts, including:
- After school hours
- Day and evening shifts (Monday to Friday)
- Saturdays as required
- Early morning shifts
- Camp events
Compensation: $12.00 – $14.00 per hour
