Job description:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Front Desk Representative to join our team at Goldfish Swim School, an award-winning swim school franchise known for its vibrant and engaging work environment.

As a Front Desk Representative, you will play a pivotal role in welcoming potential and current customers, promoting excellent customer service, and effectively managing registration transactions. This position requires a commitment to fostering a positive and engaging atmosphere that supports our mission of changing lives through swim education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for all customers by answering phones, responding to inquiries, directing calls, and taking messages in a professional manner.
  • Manage student registrations with effective sales and customer service techniques, ensuring a seamless experience for families.
  • Address and resolve customer concerns using exceptional customer service practices.
  • Greet parents and students warmly as they check in at the front desk.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the front desk, Snack Shack, changing areas, restrooms, and observation areas.
  • Monitor and respond to voicemail and email inquiries in a timely fashion.
  • Update informational displays with accurate promotions and literature.
  • Proactively address any outstanding account issues through follow-up calls.
  • Enforce safety rules and regulations to prevent accidents, and administer first aid when necessary.
  • Undertake additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • A passion for working with children.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to pass background checks included with training.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Intermediate level computer skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, and other software systems.
  • CPR, First Aid, and AED certification preferred.

Work Schedule:
This position is part-time with evening shifts starting at 3:30 PM to 7:30 PM on Monday and Wednesday or until 8:30 PM on Tuesday and Thursday. Saturday shifts are from 8:30 AM to 4:15 PM.
