Compensation: $15.00 – $17.00 per hour
Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM; Friday 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Responsibilities:
- Exhibit dependability and attention to detail while managing financial transactions, conducting insurance verifications, and preparing end-of-day reports to ensure patient comfort.
- Perform clerical duties, including sorting, distributing mail, scanning, and photocopying; answer phone calls, provide information, greet visitors and patients; schedule, verify, and confirm patient appointments.
- Educate patients on procedures and services using your dental knowledge.
- Present financial policies and assist in collecting co-payments, verifying insurance coverage as appropriate.
- Manage appointment tracking for no-shows, cancellations, and late arrivals.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree preferred.
- 1-5 years of experience in customer service, insurance, or dental fields preferred.
- Familiarity with dental software and Microsoft Office Suite, along with the ability to learn new applications as required.
