As the General Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of Goldfish Swim School, ensuring quality and success across various functions, including staffing, pool operations, cash management, customer service, and retail and vending departments. You will be responsible for the financial performance of GSS, achieving targeted goals outlined in the annual budget through the motivation, leadership, and supervision of a dedicated team of employees.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Administration/Organization

  • Demonstrate strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Direct and control daily operations to align with GSS standard operating procedures.
  • Communicate and implement company policies and procedures to ensure staff adherence.
  • Manage and develop staff to promote high productivity, excellent performance, and positive employee satisfaction.
  • Facilitate the recruitment and hiring processes to attract top talent.

Leadership/Motivation

  • Act as a role model for employees, fostering a positive work environment.
  • Maintain effective communication through weekly management meetings.
  • Oversee, support, and develop a team of 30-60 employees.
  • Initiate and manage employee engagement activities to enhance workplace satisfaction.

Sales and Revenue Management

  • Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team to meet enrollment and sales targets.

  • Collaborate with Deck Supervisors on class scheduling, student progress, customer service, and employee training.
  • Gain proficiency in scheduling software for efficient bookings, class scheduling, reporting, and administrative tasks.

Customer Service

  • Monitor and uphold a high Net Promoter Score (NPS).
