As a General Manager (GM), you will play a pivotal role in providing leadership and daily direction to our sales and personal training teams across two locations. This key position requires a thorough understanding of sales and operational excellence, alongside a genuine passion for coaching and developing talent. As the sales leader, you will be tasked with executing lead generation and marketing strategies to boost sales of fitness programs while promoting the health and wellness benefits associated with a healthy lifestyle. Responsibilities & Expectations:
– Demonstrate studio activities and the sales process through active participation, leading by example.
– Meet and exceed established Key Performance Indicators.
– Lead and coordinate initial and ongoing sales initiatives, including promotions and outreach, while implementing effective lead generation strategies.
– Oversee the complete employee life cycle for studio-level staff, including recruitment, hiring, onboarding, scheduling, performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, and offboarding.
– Train and mentor staff to establish a robust leadership pipeline, incorporating daily role-playing to maintain a high-performing team.
– Ensure studio budgets for revenue, payroll, supplies, inventory management, and Return Merchandise Authorizations are met.
– Manage scheduling for sales staff and conduct weekly audits of time cards, ensuring timely and accurate payroll submissions every other week.
– Organize and lead monthly staff meetings with sales and fitness teams to review objectives, goals, events, and marketing campaigns.
– Participate in weekly meetings with Regional Managers to report on performance metrics and studio developments.
– Collaborate with the Head Coach to optimize class sizes through effective scheduling.
– Ensure adherence to front desk operations, including member check-in, handling inquiries, guest bookings, and onboarding responsibilities.
– Plan and promote monthly special events to foster community involvement and outreach.

Operational Duties:
– Ensure compliance with OTF business policies and the Thrive employee handbook in daily studio operations.
– Maintain OTF branding through consistent application of corporate policies, business practices, and operational systems.
– Troubleshoot issues related to studio equipment and technology in collaboration with the facilities department, ensuring the facility is clean, well-maintained, and operationally sound.
– Make effective decisions concerning customer service issues.
