Job Overview:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Performing all maintenance and repair services, including oil changes, tire rotations, battery replacements, suspension alignments, and more
  • Conducting state-mandated vehicle emission and safety inspections in compliance with regulations
  • Collaborating as part of a team to address customer concerns promptly and effectively
  • Completing thorough, accurate, and honest courtesy vehicle inspections
  • Ensuring all preventive maintenance reports are precise and comprehensive
  • Adhering to federal, state, and local regulations affecting service operations, including hazardous waste disposal and OSHA standards
  • Participating in housekeeping functions as directed by management
  • Effectively communicating the extent of any vehicle damage or malfunctions to the service department
  • Upholding high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization

Qualifications:

  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
  • This position is entry-level, and while a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, it is not mandatory

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move over 50 pounds
  • Capable of working with tools on vehicles elevated above head level
  • Comfortable working in confined spaces as needed for vehicle repairs
  • Possess dexterity to efficiently use hand tools
  • Ability to walk or stand for the majority of the workday
  • Proficient in driving manual transmission vehicles
  • Maintain a brisk work pace in a high-volume environment
