As a Guest Services Representative, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Guest Interaction: Warmly welcome and greet guests. Efficiently manage check-ins and check-outs, handle reservations, and accurately record charges related to rooms, taxes, My Store purchases, and pet fees as per hotel policy.

Guest Assistance: Act as the primary resource for guests by providing information about the hotel, its amenities, local attractions, dining options, shopping areas, and places of worship. Address and resolve guest concerns or complaints with professionalism and care.

Telephone Management: Utilize the phone system effectively by taking and transferring calls, accurately recording messages, and managing guest wake-up calls with proper etiquette.

Financial Transactions: Execute credit card authorizations, handle cash transactions accurately, and provide change when necessary.

Administrative Duties: Maintain organized records of daily activities, prepare the Night Audit Checklist, manage cash and call logs, and ensure that the Front Desk Log is up-to-date. Report any issues related to front desk operations, guest relations, or maintenance to the General Manager.

Safety & Security: Comply with all safety and security protocols. Conduct regular property inspections, walk all floors and stairwells, check outside doors for security, and ensure adequate outside lighting.

Loyalty Program Promotion: Actively promote the Stay Rewarded Loyalty Program to enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty.

Cleaning: Assist with various cleaning responsibilities, including laundry tasks, sanitizing common areas, stocking supplies, preparing coffee, and ensuring all entrances and sidewalks are free of snow and ice.

Support Services: Deliver additional guest supplies such as rollaway cribs, towels, and soap as needed, and manage the issuance and tracking of master keys and key cards for housekeeping and maintenance staff.
