Reports to: Production Supervisor
Qualification / Requirements: To excel in this role, an individual must successfully fulfill each essential duty. Education/Experience/Skills: A High School diploma is strongly encouraged, along with basic proficiency in Math and English.
Essential Duties: Additional responsibilities may be assigned.
– Possess knowledge of basic Headliner Hot Forming and Cold Forming machine operations.
– Collaborate with the Production Supervisor and Production Control to establish die change schedules, ensuring adherence to these schedules.
– Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the proper connections for hydraulic, electrical, and water lines in the process of removing and setting dies.
– Uphold company policies, safety standards, and effective housekeeping practices.
– Exhibit mechanical aptitude.
– Maintain a strong attendance record.
– Show a willingness to learn, listen, and ask relevant questions.
– Be prepared to utilize computers in job functions.
– Foster a collaborative team-oriented environment.
– Accept exposure to oil and grease as part of daily duties.
– Be flexible to work any assigned shift.
– Successfully complete forklift classification training and obtain a valid operator license.
– Participate in company-sponsored training sessions as required.
– Comprehend, execute, and adhere to Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) training and procedures.
– Possess effective communication skills.
– Demonstrate the ability to perform basic water jet robot maneuvering using a teach pendant (including robot homing and non-program adjustments).
Work Environment: This position operates within a manufacturing setting, regularly utilizing standard office equipment. The work environment can experience elevated temperatures, and the noise level may be loud; however, it complies with OSHA standards.
Physical Demands: The role requires standing for extended periods, reaching, speaking, handling objects with hands, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and lifting up to 40 lbs. Vision requirements include the ability to see information in print and electronically.
