Help at Home is actively seeking compassionate caregivers for part-time shifts in Sterling Heights, MI, specifically on Thursday and Sunday evenings. In this role, you will assist a client after school, helping them maintain their independence in a comfortable and supportive environment.

Position Details:

• Shifts Available:
  • Thursday from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM
  • Sunday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM

Additional hours may be available with other clients.

Compensation:

• Starting pay range of $15-$16 per hour

As a Help at Home caregiver, you will take on one of several essential roles:

• Homemakers: Provide support to seniors living independently, including meal preparation, light housekeeping, and errand running.
• Home Care Aides and Personal Care Attendants: Assist with daily activities such as bathing, grooming, and accompanying clients to appointments while also performing light housekeeping and errands.
• Home Health Aides: Support clients with basic health monitoring, medication reminders, and daily living activities, including grooming, bathing, and light housekeeping.

Eligibility Requirements:
To qualify for one of our caregiver roles, candidates must possess:

• A valid driver’s license
• Reliable transportation and auto insurance
• Weekend availability
• An empathetic understanding of others’ needs and the ability to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds
• Flexibility, adaptability, and a commitment to providing care with dignity, patience, and compassion during evenings and weekends
• A dedication to ongoing professional development and adherence to organizational and state-required training
