Job Description
Job Title: Home Care Aide – Weekly Pay
Company: Honor
Location: Columbus, OH
Pay: $15 – 15.5 per hour
AI Pay Analysis: The hourly rate of $15 – $15.50 for a Home Care Aide in Columbus, OH, is somewhat competitive but may be on the lower end compared to industry standards. As of late 2023, the average hourly wage for home care aides in Ohio generally ranges from $14 to $18, with higher wages often found in urban areas or for positions requiring specialized skills or certifications. Given that Columbus is a growing metropolitan area where the cost of living is rising, offering a wage on the lower side of this spectrum may pose challenges in attracting and retaining qualified candidates. Thus, while this rate can be appealing for entry-level positions, increasing it would help align with market trends and the demand for skilled home care professionals.
