Services You’ll Provide:

• Personal Care Services:
  • Assist clients with bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, and grooming
  • Support with eating and meal management
  • Aid in household management and personal affairs
  • Assist clients in self-administration of medications (not dispensing)
  • Provide essential housekeeping to promote client health and welfare
  • Facilitate additional activities of daily living (ADLs) as outlined in the client’s individualized care plan
• Homemaking Services:
  • Engage in meal planning and preparation
  • Assist with grocery planning and shopping
  • Provide laundry services, including folding, ironing, and putting away
  • Conduct house cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and maintaining kitchen and bathroom care
  • Change bed linens and ensure a clean living environment
  • Offer respite services for the client’s regular caregiver
  • Complete other homemaking tasks as per the client’s care plan

Important Work Guidelines:

• Maximum weight lifting restriction of 25 lbs
• No medication dispensing or administration
• Services provided only when clients are present
• No transport of clients in any vehicle
• No medical procedures or treatments are to be conducted
• Professional boundaries will be maintained (no sharing of personal contact information)
• All care provided will be supervised by nursing staff

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to access homes that may not be wheelchair accessible
• Sufficient hearing, eyesight, and physical dexterity for client care
• May need to assist clients with mobility using appropriate techniques and equipment
• capacity to lift/carry up to 25 pounds
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills
