Services You’ll Provide:

• Personal Care Services:

  • Assisting clients with bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, and grooming
  • Supporting nutrition and meal management
  • Aiding with household management and personal affairs
  • Assisting in self-administration of medications (not dispensing)
  • Conducting essential housekeeping tasks to promote client health and safety
  • Performing additional activities of daily living (ADLs) as outlined in the client’s care plan
• Homemaking Services:
  • Meal planning and preparation
  • Grocery planning and shopping assistance
  • Laundry services including folding, ironing, and storage
  • House cleaning including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing kitchen and bathroom spaces
  • Changing bed linens and maintaining a tidy living environment
  • Providing respite services for regular caregivers
  • Completing homemaking tasks specified in the client’s care plan

Important Work Guidelines:

• Weight lifting restrictions of a maximum of 25 lbs
• No medication dispensing or administration
• Services are provided only when the client is at home
• No transportation of clients in any vehicle
• No medical procedures or treatments; professional boundaries should be maintained (no sharing of personal contact information)
• All care will be supervised by nursing staff

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to access homes that may lack wheelchair accessibility
• Sufficient hearing, vision, and physical dexterity to provide care
• May require assistance with client mobility using appropriate techniques and equipment
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
• Clear communication skills, both verbal and written

Requirements:

• Active Ohio STNA License
• Valid Driver’s License
