Services You Will Provide:

Personal Care Services:

  • Assisting clients with bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, and grooming
  • Aiding with eating and meal management
  • Supporting clients with household management and personal affairs
  • Assisting with the self-administration of medications (not dispensing)
  • Performing essential housekeeping to ensure clients’ health and welfare
  • Carrying out activities of daily living (ADLs) as detailed in the client’s individualized care plan

Homemaking Services:

  • Meal planning and preparation
  • Grocery purchase planning and shopping assistance
  • Laundry services, including folding and ironing
  • House cleaning that encompasses dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and kitchen and bathroom care
  • Changing bed linens and maintaining a clean living environment
  • Providing respite services for regular caregivers
  • Completing additional homemaking tasks as outlined in the client’s care plan

Important Work Guidelines:

  • Maximum weight lifting limit of 25 lbs
  • No medication dispensing or administration
  • Services are provided only when the client is home
  • Driving clients in your vehicle is not permitted
  • No medical procedures or treatments are included; professional boundaries must be maintained (no sharing personal contact information)
  • All care will be supervised by nursing staff

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to access homes that may not be wheelchair accessible
  • Sufficient hearing, eyesight, and physical dexterity for client care
  • May be required to assist with client mobility using proper techniques and equipment
