Haven Home Care is seeking compassionate State-Tested Nursing Assistants (STNAs) in Summit County and surrounding areas. With the flexibility to choose your own schedule, you will enjoy consistent clients and competitive pay, complete with guaranteed hours.

Services You’ll Provide:
Personal Care Services:
- Assist clients with bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, and grooming
- Support with eating and meal management
- Aid clients in household management and personal affairs
- Assist with the self-administration of medications (not dispensing)
- Perform essential housekeeping tasks to ensure client health and welfare
- Conduct additional activities of daily living (ADLs) as specified in each client’s individualized care plan
Homemaking Services:
- Plan and prepare meals
- Assist with grocery shopping and planning
- Provide laundry services (folding, ironing, and putting away)
- Maintain cleanliness through house cleaning, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and kitchen and bathroom care
- Change bed linens and uphold a clean living environment
- Provide respite services for clients’ regular caregivers
- Complete other designated homemaking tasks as outlined in the client’s care plan
Important Work Guidelines:
- Weight-lifting restriction of a maximum of 25 lbs
- No medication dispensing or administration
- Services are provided only when the client is home
- Driving clients is prohibited
- No medical procedures or treatments are conducted
- Professional boundaries will be maintained (e.g., no sharing personal contact information)
- All care is supervised by nursing staff
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to access homes that may lack wheelchair accessibility
- Adequate hearing, eyesight, and physical dexterity for client care
- Capability to assist with client mobility using proper techniques and equipment
- Ability to lift/carry up to 25 pounds
- Clear communication skills, both verbal and written
Requirements:
- Active Ohio STNA License
- Valid Driver’s License
