As a Home Health Aide, your key responsibilities will include:
– Providing the personal care and support necessary for seniors to live safely and comfortably at home
– Assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation, and providing companionship
– Aiding with ambulation, transferring, and range of motion exercises
– Offering medication reminders, documenting client conditions, and notifying supervisors of any concerns
– Ensuring a safe home environment by maintaining unobstructed pathways
– Engaging clients in enjoyable activities such as puzzles, games, reading, and hobbies
Qualifications for this role include:
– A minimum of 1 year of supervised experience providing hands-on personal care, or a Certificate of Training (CNA or STNA)
– A valid Ohio driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation
– A compassionate demeanor, effective communication skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
