Haven Home Care is seeking compassionate Certified Home Health Aides to serve Portage County and its surrounding areas. You will have the opportunity to select your preferred schedule, work with consistent clients, and enjoy competitive compensation with guaranteed hours.

Services You Will Provide:

Personal Care Services:
- Assisting clients with bathing, dressing, hygiene, and grooming
- Meal management including eating assistance
- Supporting clients with household management and personal affairs
- Aiding in self-administration of medications (not dispensing)
- Essential housekeeping to promote client health and welfare
- Providing additional activities of daily living (ADLs) as outlined in the individualized care plan
- Homemaking Services:
- Meal planning and preparation
- Grocery shopping assistance
- Laundry services including folding, ironing, and organizing
- House cleaning duties including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and maintaining kitchen and bathroom areas
- Changing bed linens and ensuring a clean living environment
- Offering respite services for clients’ regular caregivers
- Completing other homemaking tasks as specified in the care plan
Important Guidelines:
- Weight lifting restriction of a maximum of 25 lbs
- No medication dispensing or administration
- Services are provided only while clients are present
- Driving clients in personal vehicles is not permitted
- No medical procedures or treatments
- Professional boundaries maintained (no sharing of personal contact information)
- All care provided is supervised by nursing staff
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to access homes that may not be wheelchair accessible
- Adequate hearing, vision, and physical dexterity for client care
- May involve assisting with client mobility (using proper techniques and equipment)
- Ability to lift or carry up to 25 pounds
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
Qualifications:
- Home Health Aide Training Certificate (30-Hour, 60-Hour, or 75-Hour certification required post-application)
- Valid Driver’s License
