Job description:

We are currently seeking a personable and service-oriented Breakfast Attendant to join our dedicated team at Sleep Inn & Suites – Mt Hope. The ideal candidate will thrive on early mornings, take pride in maintaining cleanliness and presentation, and enjoy providing guests with a delightful breakfast experience.

In the role of Breakfast Host/Hostess, you will be responsible for preparing and serving the hotel’s complimentary breakfast while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere through attentive service.

Pay:
Starting at $12.00 per hour

Essential Job Functions:

  • Provide personalized service to each guest.
  • Adhere to the uniform policy by wearing a complete uniform, including name tag, earpiece, and radio.
  • Conduct a daily inventory of food, beverages, and supplies.
  • Prepare breakfast items, including cutting fruit, hot items, and brewing coffee.
  • Maintain beverage stations, ensuring they are stocked with juice, milk, coffee, and tea.
  • Set up and arrange food in the self-service area.
  • Promptly clear and clean tables.
  • Attend to spills and dispose of trash efficiently.
  • Replenish food and supplies throughout the breakfast service.
  • Wash and properly store serving equipment.
  • Regularly wipe down counters and movable items.
  • Restock and appropriately store leftover food items after breakfast service.
  • Conduct a final cleanliness inspection after service.
  • Lift and carry up to 50 lbs as necessary.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Exhibit a positive, team-first attitude.
  • Be reliable, punctual, and focused on guest satisfaction.
  • Availability during weekends is necessary.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned by the Supervisor.
