Job Title: Hotel Engineer II

Company: Marriott

Location: Detroit, MI

Pay: $24.07 per hour

AI Pay Analysis: The hourly rate of $24.07 for a “Hotel Engineer II” in Detroit, MI, appears to be somewhat below the competitive standards for similar roles in the hospitality and facilities management sectors. As of late 2023, hotel engineers in major cities typically earn between $25 to $35 per hour, depending on experience, specific skills, and the size of the establishment. While Detroit may have a lower cost of living compared to cities like New York or San Francisco, the rate still seems on the lower end of the spectrum, potentially reflecting regional pay disparities or specific employer considerations. Therefore, this rate may not attract top talent unless offset by other benefits or conducive working conditions.
