Job description:

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance/Grounds Person to join our dedicated team at Comfort Suites Marysville. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective operation and maintenance of our property while adhering to all Best Western brand standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform maintenance tasks, including plumbing repairs, HVAC system maintenance, and general building repairs.
  • Conduct inspections of equipment and facilities to identify issues or potential problems.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff.
  • Maintain the upkeep of the grounds by picking up litter, weeding, cleaning around the dumpster area, and completing any other assigned tasks from management.
  • Manage inventory, supplies, and equipment necessary for maintenance tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and brand standards.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to hotel guests, staff, and management.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Previous experience in facilities or hotel roles is preferred.
  • Timely completion of all maintenance requests.
  • Ability to perform carpet cleaning as needed.
  • Basic electrical experience is preferred.
