The responsibilities of this position encompass supporting the housekeeping team in cleaning guest rooms, managing laundry functions, and enhancing overall guest satisfaction.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate stock levels in the storeroom upon arrival and restock inventory as necessary.
  • Assist Room Attendants by removing linens and disposing of trash.
  • Aid in cleaning guest rooms and making beds as needed.
  • Transport dirty linen from vacated rooms to the laundry department.
  • Deliver clean bath and bed linens from the laundry to storerooms.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in storerooms at all times.
  • Deliver items such as irons, ironing boards, rollaway beds, and cribs to guest rooms upon request.
  • Operate trash compactors and cardboard balers.
  • Collect and return previously used guest requests found in rooms or hallways to storage.
  • Communicate with management regarding any special requests or responsibilities.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Flexibility in scheduling based on business needs.
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screening.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary.

Desired Qualifications & Traits:

  • Previous experience handling cleaning chemicals.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Prior housekeeping or general cleaning experience.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
