Job description:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented full-time Housekeeper to join our esteemed team. As a Housekeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our hotel, which is renowned for exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
– Perform thorough cleaning and vacuuming of guest rooms, including making beds, replenishing room supplies, and collecting soiled linens for laundering.
– Ensure public spaces are clean and tidy, as well as undertake special cleaning projects as assigned.
– Maintain high-quality standards of cleanliness and ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
– Report any maintenance issues or room deficiencies such as broken items or light bulbs that need replacing.
– Update the daily assignment sheet with completed rooms and pertinent notes regarding room conditions or needs.
– Communicate effectively with supervisors to address rooms requiring additional attention.
– Maintain the cleanliness and organization of housekeeping closets on the floor, as well as properly handle and maintain cleaning equipment and materials.
– Return found items to Security and report any missing hotel room items to the office.
– Complete any additional duties as assigned by the Director of Housekeeping or Management Team.

Qualifications:
– A minimum of one year of experience in housekeeping is required; hospitality experience is preferred.

– Able to stand for up to 9 hours, lift up to 30 pounds, and operate cleaning equipment safely.
– Proficiency in using cleaning chemicals and products in accordance with safety guidelines.

Compensation:
The hourly rate for this role is $14.00, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
