Job description:

We are seeking to fill both full-time and part-time Housekeeper positions immediately.

Location: Crothall Healthcare at CCHMC CHSN – 2750 Beekman Street, Cincinnati, OH 45225. Please note that online applications are accepted only.

Schedule: Availability includes various full-time and part-time shifts. Specific days and hours may vary, including 2nd and 3rd shifts. Further details will be provided during the interview process.

Requirement: While previous housekeeping experience is preferred, it is not mandatory.

Job Summary:
The Housekeeper is responsible for light cleaning duties to ensure establishments such as hospitals, hotels, and restaurants maintain a clean and orderly environment. Typical duties include making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning rooms and halls, and vacuuming.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service by providing personalized attention to detail.
  • Sweep, scrub, mop, and polish floors.
  • Vacuum carpets, rugs, and draperies.
  • Shampoo carpets, rugs, and upholstery.
  • Dust and polish furniture and fittings.
  • Clean metal fixtures and fittings.
  • Empty and clean trash containers, ensuring sanitary disposal.
  • Clean wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and showers.
  • Wipe down glass surfaces.
  • Make up beds and change linens as required.
  • Realign furniture and amenities according to prescribed layouts.
  • Address guest queries and requests promptly.
  • Respond to housekeeping issues, including spills and broken glass.
  • Contribute to team efforts; maintain professionalism with customers and colleagues.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
