Coreworks is seeking to fill a full-time Housekeeper position immediately.

• Location: Michigan Masonic Home, 1200 Wright Avenue, Alma, MI 48801.
• Schedule: Full-time, with varying days and hours. Expect ten-hour shifts over four days per week; further details will be provided during the interview process.
• Requirements: Previous cleaning experience is required, though we are willing to provide training.
• Compensation: The pay range for this position is $15.00 to $16.00 per hour.

Job Summary: In this role, you will perform light cleaning duties to uphold the cleanliness and orderliness of various establishments, including hotels, restaurants, and hospitals. Responsibilities include making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning rooms and hallways, and vacuuming.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Deliver exceptional customer service by attending to details.
• Sweep, scrub, mop, and polish floors.
• Vacuum carpets, rugs, and draperies.
• Shampoo carpets, rugs, and upholstery.
• Dust and polish furniture and fixtures.
• Clean metal fixtures and fittings.
• Empty and clean trash containers, disposing of waste in a sanitary manner.
• Clean wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and showers.
• Wipe down glass surfaces.
• Make up beds and change linens as required.
• Realign furniture and amenities as per prescribed layout.
• Respond to guest inquiries and requests.
• Address housekeeping problems swiftly, such as spills and broken items.
• Contribute positively to team efforts and uphold professionalism with customers and colleagues.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
